Place of the Nice Courthouse

Courthouse
Just a stone's throw from Cours Saleya, Nice's courthouse is a place worth discovering.
Place du Palais de Justice: a pedestrian square
The pedestrian square in front of Nice's courthouse, located at the entrance to the old town, is home to Nice's courthouse, a neoclassical building constructed at the end of the last century, as well as the Palais Rusca, an annex to the courthouse and former military barracks. A pretty fountain connects the two buildings.
An interesting place to discover, but not necessarily a must-see. This place is more of a passing point, meaning that you will pass through it on your way to Old Nice but without necessarily stopping there... unless you want to enjoy a drink on one of the terrace cafés on the square. It is a good place to rest: neither too busy nor poorly located (a few metres from Cours Saleya and Old Nice).
The markets of Nice's Place du Palais de Justice
