A two-day programme in Nice
Use the first day for the historic centre and the second for the port, culture or Cimiez. This order works well for a first visit without a car.
Day 1: seafront, centre and Old Nice
Walk from the Promenade des Anglais to Place Masséna, the Paillon gardens, Cours Saleya and Old Nice. Finish at Castle Hill for the view.
Day 2: the port and culture
Explore Garibaldi and the port of Nice. Choose the coastal walk towards Mont Boron or a museum such as Villa Masséna.
